Assertiveness &
Interpersonal Skills
One Day Workshop
In our culture, aggression is
popularly conceived as a valuable behavioural unit. Aggression can
produce short-term successes but in the longer term, aggressive
individuals tend to generate conflict, break down goodwill and
damage relationships. Assertive behaviour is that which clearly
conveys what you want, whilst at the same time, recognising and
respecting the rights of others assertive individuals. This tends to
achieve much more in the long run than either the timid/passive or
the aggressive. Effective managers understand the value of
assertiveness and are able to apply the skills and gain results.
This is a practical, experiential based workshop, which explores
Assertive Communication and its applications in the workplace.
